Marianna's Professional Biography
Marianna Mott Newirth has been living and working in New York City since 1986. A born New Yorker – East Side Lying-In Hospital mid 1960’s – she was raised in Connecticut and schooled in New Hampshire at Proctor Academy and in Missouri at Stephens College. She beat it back to home-turf shortly after earning her undergraduate degree in Theatre Arts. Today, Newirth is a communications expert with over fifteen years of experience in marketing, management and administration.
She has managed photographers, operated a book-bindery and served eight years in interfaith broadcasting, producing award-winning documentaries and video shorts for network TV and The Jewish Theological Seminary. Her career took a turn into the for-profit sector early in 2007 when she accepted a job with Key Bank - Real Estate Capital division in mid-town. There she is currently learning about real estate banking and integrating that knowledge with her communications skills. Newirth is a strong writer, project manager & thought leader with a proven track record of high-profile success. She lives in Chelsea with; husband, photographer, Scott Newirth; and their two sons, one of whom is a budding film maker/musician, the other a future astronomer/race car driver/business architect. They are in the process of launching a family-run production house that will offer still photography, video and print services.
